सरल मापनी (Plain Scale)
सरल मापनी के द्वारा किसी रैखिक माप-प्रणाली (जैसे भारतीय या अंग्रेजी माप-प्रणाली ) के अधिक से अधिक दो मात्रकों (units) जैसे, मील व फर्लांग, फर्लांग व गज, गज व फीट, किलोमीटर व हेक्टोमीटर, हेक्टोमीटर व डेकामीटर तथा डेकामीटर व मीटर आदि, में धरातल की दूरियाँ प्रदर्शित की जा सकती हैं।
Haggerstrand’s Model
The study of diffusion processes has engaged the attention of many geographers in recent years. While these ideas were originally discussed in qualitative terms by anthropologists Clark Wissler and A.L. Kroeber, it was Haggerstrand who combined the depth of research and originality of content.
