सारगैसो सागर (Sargasso Sea)
सारगैसो सागर का विस्तार सागरीय घास के विस्तार तथा धाराओं की चक्रगति (gyre) के आधार पर निश्चित किया जाता है। मार्मर के अनुसार सारगैसो का विस्तार 20° तथा 40° उत्तरी अक्षांशों तथा 35° से 75° प० देशान्तरों के मध्य में पाया जाता है।
