विश्व के जनसंख्या-संसाधन प्रदेश (Population Resource Regions of the World)
एकरमैन (E.A, Ackerman) ने जनसंख्या-संसाधन अनुपात तथा उनके विकास के लिए उपयोग में लाई जाने वाली प्रौद्योगिकी के आधार पर सम्पूर्ण विश्व को 5 बृहत् प्रदेशों में विभक्त किया है जो जनसंख्या-संसाधन प्रदेश को व्यक्त करते हैं। विश्व के प्रत्येक भाग इन्हीं पाँच प्रदेशों में से किसी न किसी प्रदेश के अंतर्गत शामिल हैं। इन प्रदेशों का नामकरण सामान्यतः प्रमुख प्रतिनिधि देश या प्रदेश के आधार पर किया गया है।
